Splashout policies.
'Every effort is made to carry out our professional responsibilities to you as paying clients. Splashout believes in the importance / necessity of communication for effective coordination. We aim to keep our prices realistic / generous, should you find this not to be the case, we would very much appreciate you informing us. We would also appreciate being informed of any service issues. We are sure to listen and will act where possible and appropriate. We thrive on feedback. Jenny Tuck (Co proprietor).
DEPOSITS:
A booking for any splashout event / service is secured only on receipt of deposit.
Please Note: Currently a term deposit is $ 30.
From Term 2 onwards term deposits will be $ 50.
Deposits are non refundable / non transferable.
Workshop / Trip / Event / deposits vary according to the situation.
ATTENDANCE:
Participation is the responsibility of the client.
In the case on non attendance, notice is appreciated.
In the case of non attendance, every effort is made to negotiate 'catch up' time for you.
'Catch up' time must be completed within the term and does not carry over to another term.
'Catch up' time is not guarenteed. It is a service splashout attempts to fulfill where possible.
Should you end up having to miss a session or sessions, the full fee is still due and payable.
TIMEKEEPING:
Punctuality is very much appreciated and assists in sessions flowing smoothly for all.
Splashout sessions commence on time and your cooperation is appreciated.
On 'briefing days' especially, there is much to cover and late arrival hinders the group's progress.
The studio is opened 15 minutes prior to session times (by all means come early and settle in).
REFUNDS:
A refund is given only if an event is cancelled by Splashout with no possibility of an alternative.
TERM PAYMENT BALANCE:
Once the deposit is paid, the term balance can be paid in two halves: Week one (first half balance) and week six (second half balance). We do prefer those amounts to be precise.
In the case of you not completing a term, the balance is still due at time of leaving.
PERSONAL INFORMATION / PRIVACY:
Personal information on enrolment forms is private and only accessed by Splashout staff.
Personal information is absolutely not shared with other organisations or clients.
If your details are requested by another client it is Splashout policy to decline.
If the need is urgent, you are contacted and your information given only with your permission.
COMMUNICATION: Splashout utilises electronic media (emails) for communication.
Plus Australia Post and in house notices.
Emails are kept to appropriate content ie: exhibitions, events, news, information, messages.
We are aware that photos / graphics take up space and every effort is made in this regard.
PRODUCTS:
Credit:
If you are unable to pay on the day, Splashout is very happy to let you select and use your products. Payment is due within 7 days.
IMPORTANT: Please notify facilitator or the office so records can be managed.
(The products are freely accessible around the studio on an honesty / trust basis).
Orders:
Anything not available in studio can be quoted for and ordered in especialy for you.
Once a product is ordered, the goods must be purchased once they arrive.

You can choose your easel / product and inform us of model / item number.
We will purchase for you and give you a generous discount off the usual retail price.
Collection is the responsibility of the purchaser.
PLEASE NOTE:
All of these 'agreements' have been the method by which splashout has run since 2002.
They have evolved over the years in negotiation with our long term clientelle.
We have been asked to formalise them in writing, to give clarity and avoid misunderstandings, thus this entry on our website. Please enquire if any item needs more clarification.
